Relationship Between Child Anxiety and Parenting Styles:Current Status,Shortcomings,and Prospects

近十年来,父母教养方式与儿童焦虑之间的关系受到国内学者的广泛关注。当前国内相关研究的核心议题包括:不同教养类型对儿童焦虑的影响、父亲与母亲教养方式的单独作用、不同年龄段儿童的焦虑与父母教养方式的关系,以及父母教养方式对儿童焦虑影响的作用机制等。未来研究应关注儿童焦虑与父母教养方式的双向作用、年龄对二者关系的累积或消退效应、母亲与父亲教养方式的交互作用及对儿童的不同影响等问题,以更好地揭示二者之间的关系。

In the past decade,the relationship between parenting style and children’s anxiety has been widely studied by domestic scholars.The core topics in current domestic research include the impact of different parenting styles on children’s anxiety,the separate effects of fathers’and mothers’parenting styles,the relationship between anxiety in children of different age groups and parenting styles,and the underlying mechanisms of the impact of parenting style on children’s anxiety.To better reveal the relationship between the two variables,future research should focus on the bidirectional effects between children’s anxiety and parenting styles,the cumulative or diminishing effect of age on the relationship between the two variables,the interaction between mothers’and fathers’parenting styles and their different impacts on children.
