The study was carry out the ecological breeding experiment. On the tropical fish tilapia which was introduced into the paddy fields in the high and cold mountainous areas of northern Guangxi.Through the study of tilapia growth constant, specific growth rate, and blood physiological and biochemical indicators in the paddy fields in the high and cold mountainous areas, the growth performance of tilapia in the paddy fields in the high and cold mountainous areas was explored. The results showed that the growth constant reached the maximum value of 0.7620 at 26.4 C,indicating that tilapia had good growth performance in the paddy fields in the mountainous areas of northern Guangxi.Fit the quadratic regression curve of the relationship between tilapia body weight growth rate, specific growth rate and daily weight gain and water temperature. The correlation curve of water temperature and tilapia specific growth rate y=0.1129 x2-6.6352 x+98.537(R2=0.6345),correlation curve between water temperature and feed coefficient y=-0.0013 x2+0.0922 x-0.2948(R2=0.4418),indicating that the optimum water temperature parameter for tilapia growth in paddy fields in northern Guangxi is 26.4 C.In the temperature range of 22.0-29.0 C,the study of blood physiological and biochemical indexes showed that tilapia in alpine moun-tains can ensure the integrity and normal function of organism tissues and organs.
