The Textual Functions of Focus of French and Chinese Cleft Sentences:A Contrastive Analysis Based on the French-Chinese Parallel Corpus of Madame Bovary

法语分裂句句式C’est X qui/que...和汉语分裂句“是……(的)”具有可比性。然而,在篇章层面,两者并不呈现句式上的绝对对应。本文以《包法利夫人》中法语分裂句C’est X qui/que...句式及其汉语对译语料为研究对象,采用定性与定量的分析方法,主要围绕焦点的回指、对比和解释三大隐性功能展开对比,旨在探讨焦点不同的篇章功能对法汉两种语言句法表现形式的影响。

The French cleft sentence“C’est X qui/que...”is quasi-equivalent to the Chinese sentence“是……(的)”.However,at the textual level,they do not present an absolute correspondence in terms of syntax.Taking as corpus the cleft sentences in Madame Bovary and their Chinese equivalents,we conduct a contrastive analysis of the functions of focus:anaphora,explanation and contrast.Combining both qualitative and quantitative analysis,we aim to explore the influence of textual functions of focus on the syntactic expressions of French and Chinese.
