阿旺克村,男,藏族,1938年生于西藏自治区拉萨市,中共党员,1980年加入中国共产党,1954年加入中央民族歌舞团,曾任演员、编导、业务办公室副主任,1980年任西藏艺术学校副校长,1994年于文联工作,任第四届中国舞蹈家协会常务理事、第五届中国舞蹈家协会主席团委员、西藏音乐舞蹈协会副主席,连续3次被评为西藏自治区先进教育工作者。是新中国培养的藏族第一代著名舞蹈表演艺术家、教育家、理论家。出版有《西藏舞蹈通史》《雪域之音——才旦卓玛传》等著作,被列入《中国当代名人录》《中国艺术家词典》《当代中华舞坛名家略传》《西藏当代文化名人》等辞书和传记。文章围绕阿旺克村先生的艺术生涯对其进行了较为深入的访谈。

Awang Kecun,male,Tibetan,born in Lhasa,Tibet Autonomous Region in 1938,a member of the Communist Party of China,joined the CPC in 1980,joined the Central Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe in 1954,once worked as an actor,director,deputy director of the business office,deputy director of the Tibetan Art School in 1980,worked in the Federation of Literary and Art Circles in 1994,and served as the executive director of the 4th China Dancers Association,the member of the presidium of the 5th Chinese Dancers Association and vice chairman of the Tibetan Music and Dance Association,rated as an advanced educator in the Tibet Autonomous Region for three consecutive times.He is the first generation of famous Tibetan dance performing artists,educators,and theorists trained in New China.He has published works such as A General History of Tibetan Dance and The Voice of Snowy Regions--Biography of Caidan Zhuoma,listed in dictionaries and biographies such as the List of Contemporary Chinese Celebrities,Dictionary of Chinese Artists,A Brief Biography of Contemporary Chinese Dance Masters,and Contemporary Cultural Celebrities in Tibet.The article focuses on Mr.Awang Kecun’s artistic career and conducts in-depth interviews with him.
