As one of the important types of traditional Chinese opera,Cantonese opera has rich cultural connota⁃tions and unique performance art forms.Applying it to modern clothing design not only enriches the expres⁃sion forms of modern clothing design,but also promotes the coordinated development of traditional Cantonese opera culture and clothing industry.The correlation between the color matching,cutting and accessories of Cantonese opera costumes and modern clothing design concepts is analyzed,and the innovative application of Cantonese opera cultural elements such as facial makeup,costumes,and classic action forms is explored.
