基于语料库的《三国演义》英译本比较研究——以杨宪益译本、张亦文译本、邓罗译本、罗幕士译本为例

A Corpus-Based Comparative Study of English Versions of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms——Take Yang Xianyi s translation,Zhang Yiwen s translation,Deng Luo s translation and Luo Mushi s translation as examples

《三国演义》的杨宪益译本、张亦文译本与邓罗译本、罗慕士译本的对应章节相比,存在诸多共性,整体词类、动词词类、名词词类、形容词词类、副词词类数量较少,而且差距较为显著。邓罗译本、罗慕士译本整体词类的丰富性使得其译文对原文的再现更为细腻和精确,句式构造更具创造性和灵活性,对于句首词and和代词it和its较高频率的使用增强了语篇的衔接性。

Compared with the corresponding chapters of translated by Yang Xianyi,Zhang Yiwen,Deng Luo and Romus in Romance of The Three Kingdoms,there are many commonalities,and the number of whole part,verb part,noun part,adjective part and adverb part is less,and the difference is more significant.The overall lexical richness of the Deng Luo and Romus translations makes their translations more delicate and accurate in the reproduction of the original text,more creative and flexible in the construction of sentence patterns,and more frequent use of the first word“and”and pronouns“it”and“its”enhances the cohesion of the text.
