How to Intervene with International Patent Classification and Keywords When Using Three-step Method of Intelligent Retrieval

国家知识产权局上线的智能检索系统的一个显著特点是支持智能检索,即系统会根据本申请的特征自动推送一定数量的相关文献,而不需要审查员采用传统的布尔算符来检索相关文献。该系统在一定程度上提高了审查员的检索效率,可以使审查员快速获得相关性比较高的文献。但是若仅仅依靠系统推送的相关文献显然并不能实现全面检索,还需要审查员采用一定的手段对检索结果进行干预和调整。该文探讨如何从分类号和关键词两个角度对智能检索的结果进行干预,以期获得更好的检索结果。

A very significant feature of the intelligent retrieval system launched by China National Intellectual Property Administration is that it supports intelligent retrieval,i.e.,the system automatically pushes a certain number of relevant documents according to the features of the present application,without requiring the examiner to employ traditional Boolean operators to retrieve the relevant literature.The system improves the retrieval efficiency of the examiner to some extent,and can make the examiner quickly obtain more relevant documents.But relying solely on relevant documents pushed by the system does not clearly enable general retrieval,and the examiner also require to intervene and adjust search results by using certain means.This paper discusses how to intervene the results of intelligent retrieval from both the International Patent Classification and keywords perspectives in anticipation of obtaining better retrieval results.
