Qinhuai Lantern,a traditional folk art with a long history,is one of the representatives of Chinese lantern art.It not only has ornamental value,but also carries profound historical and folk cultures.This paper analyzes the artistic features of the the Qinhuai Lantern and explores its inheritance and innovation in the digital age with examples.It concludes that,the great importance attached by the government and the public,as well as the development of science and technology,has created favorable conditions for the protection and inheritance of Qinhuai Lantern,and the presentation and dissemination are becoming more and more diversified and modernized.Thus,the Qinhuai Lantern has gained new vitality in the contemporary era.
