学以致用:建党前后毛泽东与中国新闻教育的兴起

Learning and Applying:Mao Zedong and the Rise of Chinese Journalism Education before and after the Founding of the Party

建党前,毛泽东报名参加了北京大学新闻研究会,半年内系统地学习了新闻学理论和知识,掌握了新闻采写编评和经营管理等方法,成为中国新闻教育开端的历史参与者、见证者;在建党过程中,他通过创办报刊、通讯社发动舆论干预政治,成为新闻工作的行家里手,并创办文化书社推销北京大学新闻学研究会教学研究成果《新闻学》,成为中国新闻教育开端成果的积极展示者、推广者;建党后,他在长沙成立共产党支部,创办湖南自修大学培训党的干部,开设新闻学课程,成为中国共产党新闻教育的拓荒者。正是他学新闻干新闻开展新闻教育,使他成为一位“学以致用”的中国早期新闻教育实践的尝试者。

Before the founding of the Chinese Communist Party,Mao Zedong enrolled in the Jour-nalism Research Association at Peking University.Within six months,he systematically studied jour-nalism theory and knowledge,mastering methods related to news gathering,writing,editing,revie-wing and management.He thus became a participant and witness to the inception of journalism educa-tion in China.In the process of founding the Party,he mobilized public opinion by establishing news-papers,magazines and news agencies,thereby becoming an expert in the field of journalism.He also founded a cultural club to promote the teaching and research achievements of the Peking University Journalism Research Association,notably the publication"Journalism",actively showcasing and advo-cating the early accomplishments of journalism education in China.After the founding of the CPC,he established a Communist Party branch in Changsha,founded Hunan Self-Study University to train par-ty cadres,and offered journalism courses.This marked him as a pioneer in Communist Party journalism education.It was precisely because he studied journalism,practiced journalism,and promoted journal-ism education that he became a pioneer in early Chinese journalism education,exemplifying the principle of"learning and applying".
