Cultural Characteristics,Civilization Contributions and World Significance of Chinese Path to Modernization from the Perspective of Comparison

文化底蕴承载着国家的发展方向和道路选择,“中国式”和“西方式”现代化道路的形成与发展归根到底是不同文化形态的逻辑展开。由中华优秀传统文化、革命文化、社会主义先进文化综合孕育而成的中国式现代化,是一种有别于西方现代化模式的具有马克思主义中国化品质的新发展模式,以马克思主义为指导的中国特色社会主义文化是中国式现代化道路的文化之魂、文化之梁、文化之基,由此呈现出中国式现代化人民主体的文化追求、开拓创新的文化理念、开放包容的文化原则、和谐发展的文化特质和家国天下的文化格局。中国式现代化道路是人类文明新形态的显著标志,对文明发展主体的重现、传统文明现代价值的重估、现代化性质与方向的重识作出了巨大贡献,对世界社会主义运动的振兴、现代化道路的多样化发展和人类命运共同体的构建具有重要意义。

Given the development direction and road choice of a country are closely related to its cultural deposits,the formation and development of the road to modernization,whether“Chinese style”or“Western style”,are the logical expansion of different cultural forms after all.Derived from China’s excellent traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,Chinese path to modernization is a new development model with the quality of Marxism in China,which is different from the western modernization.Guided by Marxism,the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is the cultural soul,beam and foundation of Chinese path to modernization and thus presents the cultural pursuit of people as the main body,the cultural concept of pioneering and innovation,the cultural principle of openness and inclusiveness,the cultural characteristics of harmonious development,and the cultural pattern of home,country and world as a whole in the Chinese path to modernization.The path to modernization in China remarks significantly a new form of human civilization,which has made great contributions to the reappearance of the subject of civilization development,the revaluation of the modern value of traditional civilization,and the re-cognition of the nature and direction of modernization.It is of great significance to the revitalization of the world socialist movement,the diversified development of modernization paths,and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
