李之藻《同文算指》“测量三率法”来源研究

STUDY ON THE BASE OF CE LIANG SAN LV FA IN TONG WEN SUAN ZHI COMPLIED BY LI ZHIZAO

“测量三率法”是明朝著名历算学家李之藻编写的《同文算指》中很重要的一部分内容。前人对此进行了多方面研究,但对此部分内容的来源一直不很清楚。本文利用文献分析方法,深入探讨这部分内容的细节,同时对照德国著名数学家克拉维乌斯的《实用几何》第三卷内容,发现李之藻关于“测量三率法”的表述与克拉维乌斯运用几何方法进行实际测量的内容很接近,二者所使用的工具、测量手段和计算方法都是一样的。因此李之藻的“测量三率法”应是在克拉维乌斯的《实用几何》第三卷内容基础上编译而成的。这一结果进一步丰富了关于《同文算指》的相关研究,可为研究明朝末年西方数学在我国的传播路径提供参考与借鉴。

The method of Ce Liang San Lv Fa is an important part of the book Tong Wen Suan Zhi written by the famous calendar mathematician Li Zhizao of the Ming Dynasty.Previous researchers have conducted various studies on this topic,but the source of this part of the content has always been unclear.In order to solve this problem,literature analysis methods were used to delve into the details of this part of the content.Meanwhile,by comparing the content of the third volume of the famous German mathematician Christopher Clavius'Practical Geometry,it can be found that Li Zhizao's description of the Ce Liang San Lv Fa is very close to Clavius'actual measurement content using geometric methods,and the tools,measurement methods,and calculation methods used by both are the same.Ce Liang San Lv Fa should be compiled based on the content of the third volume of Practical Geometry.This result further enriches the relevant research on Tong Wen Suan Zhi and can provide reference for the dissemination of Western mathematics in China during the late Ming Dynasty.
