香榧种植在会稽山区海拔200-700m的陡坡山地,树高冠大,采摘时枝头成熟果与幼果同时并存,是当地的重要经济来源。“蜈蚣梯”是当地榧农爬上香榧树采摘香榧青果的专用工具,因其形似蜈蚣而得名。制作和使用“蜈蚣梯”采摘香榧的技艺是GIAHS的重要组成部分之一。本文对“蜈蚣梯”的产生原因、主要特点、存在的问题进行初步研究,以期客观展示它的特点及其价值,推动这一农业文化遗产的传承和保护。

"Centipede Ladder"is a specialized tool for farmers to pick Torreya raw fruit.The name comes from its unique shape as a centipede.Producing and implementing"Centipede Ladder"is one of key components of GIAHS.This paper investigates the acquisition,main characteristics and values of the"centipede ladder",Furthermore,the existing problems regarding inheritance are discussed,promoting the protection of this agricultural cultural heritage.
