党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚持问题导向、使命引领、守正创新,从事关党和国家生死存亡、解决大党独有难题、跳出历史周期率高度全面从严治党、推进党的自我革命,创造性地将现代治理理念、系统观念、辩证思维运用到管党治党之中,紧紧围绕“新时代建设什么样的长期执政的马克思主义政党、怎样建设长期执政的马克思主义政党”这一重大时代命题与党的建设的主题主线进行实践创新、理论创新、制度创新,深化了对党的建设的规律性认识,形成了习近平总书记关于党的建设的重要思想。新时代,党的建设理念创新、理论创新、制度创新、实践创新具有相辅相成性。概括提出新时代党的建设总要求、对党的建设进行系统规划,坚持和加强党的全面领导、形成新时代党的全面领导理论,推进全面从严治党、构建全面从严治党体系,推进党的自我革命、形成党的自我革命理论,提出与推进依规治党、形成依规治党理论,这五个方面是理念、理论、制度与方式方法的有机统一,集中体现了新时代党的建设的重大理论创新成果,具有开创意义。
