On the Heterogeneity of Angela Carter’s Unicorn——Generative Mechanism and Literary Experiment

以《独角兽》为代表的英国作家安吉拉·卡特“20世纪60年代的诗歌”是异质性创作的典范。异质性的形成,一方面受20世纪60年代英国异质的社会文化影响,一方面取决于诗人独异的文艺观及其独特的经验自我。借助对西方经典独角兽故事的思想立场和美学形式的异质性发明,卡特呼吁文学创作要融合“现实与想象”,兼顾“传统与现代”,从而实现文学的审美价值、思想价值和社会意义。

Represented by Unicorn,Angela Carter’s“poetry of the sixties”is a model of heterogeneous creation.The formation of heterogeneity,on the one hand,is rooted in the heterogeneous social culture of Britain in the 1960s;On the one hand,it derives from Carter’s distinct outlook of literature and her unique experiential self.Via heterogeneous invention of the aesthetic form and ideological stance of the classic Western unicorn story,Carter calls for literary creation to integrate reality with imagination and infuse tradition with modernity,so as to fulfill the aesthetic beauty,ideological revelation and social significance of literature.
