Based on the development background that the building surface has become an independent architectural element,assumingmore and more functions and means of expressing individuality and aesthetics,this paper expounds the evolution of building skin,taking the Dubai World Expo building as an example,analyzes and summarizes four development trends of building skin integration,graphic,ecological and digital in the world.
