红色文化是中国共产党带领人民创造的宝贵红色财富,对新时代坚定社会主义文化自信、培育社会主义核心价值观、助力社会主义文化强国建设具有重要意义。但新时代红色文化的传承与发展仍面临红色文化资源保护利用不足、专业化红色文化人才队伍欠缺、红色文化宣传弘扬不到位等问题,严重影响红色文化育人的实效,不利于红色血脉的代代相传。为续红色精神血脉,传承红色基因,发挥红色文化资源在弘扬和传承红色文化、继承红色精神中的重要作用,新时代要着力提升红色文化资源的保护利用水平,进一步健全专业化红色文化人才队伍建设机制,不断完善红色文化传播机制,引导人们在红色实践活动中续精神血脉,从而形成红色文化认同,实现红色文化的传承和发展。
