In recent years,local cultural and artistic festivals and the protection of intangible cultural heritage have been increasingly valued,and the development momentum is also getting better and better.Not only is there a large quantity and scale,but the quality is also constantly improving,with distinct characteristics.In addition,local cultural and artistic festivals and the development of intangible cultural heritage are driving economic development and progress,playing a very important role in the integration and promotion of regional cultural tourism.The protection and inheritance of local cultural arts and intangible cultural heritage is a systematic and grand project.The development of local cultural and artistic festivals,as well as the standards and quality of local cultural and artistic festivals,affect the development of the regional economy.This article briefly describes the relationship between local cultural and artistic festivals,intangible cultural heritage,and mass cultural activities,analyzes the role of local cultural and artistic festivals in the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage,and takes Dongguan as an example to comprehensively reflect,analyze,and explore the current development status and innovative ways of local cultural and artistic festivals and intangible cultural heritage protection.It is hoped that this can provide a reference for promoting the prosperity and development of national culture.
