广西壮族互猜谜联的整理与翻译研究

Research on the Compilation and Translation of Guangxi Zhuang Riddle Couplets

壮族互猜谜联作为广西壮族自治区民间文学的一种形式,具有独特的魅力和价值。该研究通过田野调查,在广西壮族民间搜集了大量的互猜谜联样本,将其进行了整理和记录,通过壮文转写和汉语标注将采集到的音视频资料以文本形式呈现。在此基础上,根据谜联的题材进行了分类和整理。针对翻译壮族互猜谜联时出现的问题,该文进一步探讨了壮族互猜谜联的英语翻译困难及相关的翻译方法。在翻译过程中,译者需要在保持谜联的形式特点的同时,准确传达壮族文化所蕴含的意义。

As a form of folk literature in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Zhuang riddle couplets possess unique charm and value.This research conducted field investigations and collected a large number of samples of Zhuang riddle couplets from the Zhuang ethnic group in Guangxi.These samples were organized and recorded,and audiovisual materials were transcribed in Zhuang script and annotated in Mandarin Chinese for presentation in textual form.Based on this,the riddle couplets were classified and organized according to their themes.Translating Zhuang riddle couplets poses significant challenges for translators.Therefore,this paper further explores the difficulties of translating Zhuang riddle couplets into English and provides relevant translation strategies.During the translation process,translators need to balance the aesthetic appeal of the couplets'form and convey the cultural elements embedded within them.This means that translators must accurately convey the meaning encompassed in Zhuang culture while preserving the formal characteristics of the couplets.
