如意是中国特有的一种象征吉祥的传统名物,清朝中期是如意发展的鼎盛期,乾隆帝除了大量在民间收集和接受地方官员进贡的如意外,还让宫中的“造办处”去制作。《红楼梦》中有关于如意这种名物的很多描绘。本文从新的视角论证了《红楼梦》创作于乾隆时期。依靠名物对古代文学作品进行断代,是被学术界认可的一种研究方法。

“Ruyi”is a unique traditional name that symbolizes auspiciousness in China.The mid Qing Dynasty was the heyday of Ruyi s development.In addition to collecting and receiving a large number of Ruyi from local officials,Emperor Qianlong also asked the“manufacturing office”in the palace to make it.There are many descriptions of Ruyi in A Dream of Red Mansions.This paper demonstrates that a dream of Red Mansions was created in the Qianlong period from a new perspective.It is a research method recognized by the academic circles to date ancient literary works by relying on celebrities.
