图书馆馆藏的人工智能比对服务

Comparison Services by Artificial Intelligence Technology on Library’s Collections

图书馆的数位馆藏,以传承、公益、教育为目的,虽然易于被使用,但也易于被滥用。论文以台湾科学教育馆、中学生网站的馆藏为例,说明如何运用人工智能等技术,发展比对服务,将数十年来的影像与数位馆藏辨识撷取出文字,进行字符串及语意比对,比专家找出更多雷同作品,甚至发现抄袭40年前旧作之情形。现今人工智能技术,虽然便于发展出成效良好的比对服务,但其误用,则更难防范。相关的技术与规范,宜及早规划,以因应人工智能时代的挑战。

The library’s digital collections are aimed at inheritance,public welfare,and education.Although they are easy to use,they are also easy to be abused.This paper takes the collections of the Taiwan Science Education Center and the essays of middle school students as examples to explain how to use artificial intelligence and other technologies to develop comparison services,identify and extract text from decades of images and digital collections.The resulting system is able to find more similar works than experts,and even find plagiarism of old works 40 years ago.However,the misuse of today’s artificial intelligence technology is more difficult to prevent.Relevant measures should be planned early to meet the challenges of the artificial intelligence era.
