Semantic Evolution and Grammaticalization of “Baole”

文章从历时角度,探讨了“爆了”的语义演变及其语法化过程。研究发现,“爆了”的语义从具体“破裂义”泛化为抽象“破裂义”,最终演化为极限程度义;句法功能从谓语、结果补语、程度补语逐步演变。文章进一步挖掘出“爆了”语法化机制和成因,主要有语义泛化和认知隐喻、重新分析、主观化、句法位置,及双音化等。

This study explores the semantic evolution and grammaticalization process of “baole” from a diachronic perspective.Research has found that the semantics of “baole” have been generalized from concrete “break” to abstract “break”,and ultimately evolved into extreme degree meaning;The syntactic function gradually evolves from predicate,result complement,to degree complement.And the main mechanisms and motivations for the grammaticalization of “baole” are semantic generalization,cognitive metaphor,syntactical position,reanalysis,disyllablization,and subjectivization.
