从孟姜女故事研究看顾颉刚的古史观念

A Study on Gu Jiegang’s Concept of Ancient History through His Study of the Meng Jiangnv’s Story

孟姜女故事研究不是“层累”说的促成因素,而是顾颉刚在提出“层累”说以后,为深化其“故事眼光”以更好地解释古史演变,才展开的个案研究。孟姜女故事研究确实深化了顾颉刚的“故事眼光”,并对其古史观念产生了两方面影响:一是推动其研究旨趣在“辨真伪”和“穷流变”之间,进一步偏向了后者;二是让顾颉刚认识到在古史演变中,还存在由共时性多元地域文化向历时性一元叙事转化的现象。

The study of Meng Jiangnv’s story is a case study conducted by Gu Jiegang after proposing the theory of“layered accumulation”,in order to deepen his“perspective on stories”and better explain the evolution of ancient history after proposing the theory of“layer accumulation”,rather than a contributing factor to the theory of“layered accumulation”.The study of Meng Jiangnv’s story has indeed deepened Gu Jiegang’s“perspective on stories”and had two impacts on his concept of ancient history:Firstly,it has pushed his focus further from“authenticity”to“transformation”;The second is to make Gu Jiegang realize that there is another phenomenon in the evolution of ancient history,which is the transformation from synchronous and diverse regional cultures to diachronic and monistic narratives.
