A fuzzy set description of the null hypothesis significance test based on p-value function is given,which provides a practical background for fuzzy set theory and a new explanation of p-value is given.The support degree of the sample data to the null hypothesis is expressed by the membership function of a fuzzy set,the rejection region of the test is expressed as the cut-set of the fuzzy set,and the level of the cut-set is expressed as the significance level.Concrete examples show the feasibility and effectiveness of our method.
