传统的宗法观念拥有深厚的社会心理基础,影响深远。国民政府统治时期,在拥有“国际都市”头衔、以开放著称的上海,也可以看到孝亲情感的长期影响力,做寿之风盛行,丧葬改革步履维艰。即使在工业文明和现代都市的包裹之下,宗法观念、孝亲情感仍然有着强大的生命力,这是以现代性为标识的政府进行社会改革的重点所在。政府应该审慎对待传统宗法孝亲观念,辩证地看待其民族性与世界性,探索出一条传统文化在现代文明中生存发展的有效路径。

Traditional filial sentiment has a profound social-psychological foundation with far-reaching influences in China.During the Nationalist Government period,Shanghai was renowned as an international metropolis for its openness,but the enduring impacts of filial sentiments remained,such as the popularity of birthday celebrations for old people and the difficulty of funeral reforms.Despite the development of indus-trial civilization and modern urbanization,feudalistic notions and filial sentiments still possess vitality.This underscores the need for the modern government to focus on social reforms.The government should care-fully consider traditional feudalistic notions and filial sentiments,dialectically examine their national and global dimensions,and explore an effective path for the survival and development of traditional cultures in the context of modern civilization.
