摘要
学习者的二语表达能力通常受到词汇和语法这两个因素的制约。语块既能表示词汇意义又能体现语法特性,还能将复杂的句法简化为以语块为单位的整体性结构,符合二语学习者的认知规律,有利于提高二语水平。基于此,本文阐述了语块的本质特征,论述了语块在二语教学中的重要性及其优势,提出了以语块为单位进行教学的具体实施策略。
Learners’second language expression ability is usually restricted by vocabulary and grammar.Chunks can not only express lexical meaning but also reflect grammatical features,and simplify complex syntax into a whole structure with chunks,which conforms to the cognitive principles of second language learners and is conducive to improving second language proficiency.Based on this,this paper expounds the essential characteristics of chunks,discusses the importance and advantages of chunks in second language teaching,and tries to put forward the specific implementation strategies of chunk-based teaching.
