在全球化进程推动下,跨文化交流成为一种常态。语言作为文化的载体,其翻译是跨文化交流的重要手段。由于各种文化的差异性,翻译活动并非易事,特别是对富有特定文化色彩的文学作品来说,译者需要有深厚的文化背景知识,才能准确地传达原文的意义。而翻译不仅是语言的转换,更是文化的传递。对比老舍先生《茶馆》两个英译本的文化差异与隐喻翻译,加强文化差异性研究。

Driven by the process of globalization,cross-cultural communication has become a norm.As a carrier of culture,language translation is an important means of cross-cultural communication.However,due to the differences in various cultures,translation activities are not easy,especially for literary works with specific cultural connotations.Only obtaining a deep cultural background knowledge can translators accurately convey the meaning of the original text.Translation is not only a transformation of language,but also a transmission of culture.This article takes Mr.Lao She’s Teahouse as an example to explore the cultural differences and metaphorical translation issues between the two English translations,which strengthens the study of cultural differences.
