The Achievements,Experiences and Enlightenment of China’s Promoting the High-quality Development of Desertification Prevention and Control in the New Era

防沙治沙是推动高质量发展和促进人与自然和谐共生的现代化建设的重要任务。党的十八大以来,在习近平生态文明思想的指引下,防沙治沙紧紧围绕高质量发展这一首要任务,在完善顶层设计和政策支持体系、筑牢北方生态安全屏障、推动绿富同兴、实现共同富裕、助力碳达峰碳中和行动、参与全球环境治理等方面取得重大成就。新时代新征程,我国防沙治沙形势依然严峻,需要继续坚持党对防沙治沙工作的全面领导;坚持系统观念,科学推进防沙治沙工作;加强“三北”等重大生态工程建设,保障国家生态安全;加强宏观调控与充分发挥市场机制的作用相结合,推动绿色生态沙产业高质量发展;加强与“一带一路”沿线国家荒漠化防治交流合作,推进共建“一带一路”绿色发展。

The prevention and control of desertification is an important taskfor promoting the high-quality development and the modernization construction with harmonious coexistence between human and nature.Since the 18th National Congress of the Party,we have made efforts in desertification prevention and control under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization.Focusing on the principal task of high-quality development,we have made achievementsin perfecting the top-level design and policy supporting system,building a strong ecological security barrier in the north,promoting the green development,realizing the common prosperity,boosting the peak carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality campaign,and participating in the global environmental governance.On the new journey in the new era,our country still faces a severe situation in desertification prevention and control,and we must go on upholding the Party’s overall leadership over the work of desertification prevention and control.We must adhere to the systematic concept to scientifically promote the work of desertification prevention and control;we must strengthen the construction of major ecological projects in the north,northwest and northeast of China,so as to ensure the ecological securityof our country;we must both strengthen the macro-control and give full play to the role of the market mechanism,so as to promote the high-quality development of green ecological sand industry;and we must strengthen exchanges and cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road on desertification control,and promote green development along the Belt and Road.
