Text and Context in the Modern History of Chinese Religions,edited by Philip Clart et al.,was published by Brill(Leiden,Netherlands)in 2020.This book is an important achievement in studying the modern Chinese religious movements in recent years.It is centered on religious texts that were created and used by societies devoted to salvation during the Minguo period and explores the contextual issues in the modern history of Chinese religions.
