This article introduces the harm of electric shocking, poisoning and blast fishing to fishery resources,and proposes measures to effectively curb illegal behaviors such as innovating fishery management mechanisms, exploring joint law enforcement ideas, investigating and ascertaining the actual situation, strictly and quickly investigating cases, and increasing publicity to create an atmosphere. It also introduces the basis, content and methods of fishery damage appraisal and assessment, providing technical support for relevant units in handling illegal fishing cases and the procuratorates in conducting criminal and civil incidental civil lawsuits for the benefit of the public.
