摘要
教师与家长的沟通交流对于学生的学习效果起到极为重要的作用,但外教与学生家长的跨文化交流尚未得到充分的研究。该文采取访谈法,对印尼丹格朗市三位汉语外教与学生家长的交流经验进行考察后发现,在双方沟通的过程中三位教师均在语言、家长自身因素(包括学历、性格特点等)、学生特殊情况(包括学习动机、学习成绩等)、双方跨文化交际能力、交流频率、班主任外语能力等方面遇到问题。针对上述问题该文提出,在印尼任教的外教可以通过掌握基础印尼语、与学生班主任合作、尽量根据学生水平“因材施教”等方式,提高与家长的沟通效率与效果,对学生的语言学习施加更加积极的影响。
The communication between teachers and parents plays an extremely important role in the learning effectiveness of students,but the cross-cultural communication between foreign teachers and parents of students has not been fully studied.This article adopts an interview method to investigate the communication experience between three Chinese foreign teachers and their students'parents in Tangerang,Indonesia.It is found that during the communication process,all three teachers encounter language barriers,parental factors(including education,personality traits,etc.),special situations of students(including learning motivation,academic performance,etc.),cross-cultural communication abilities of both sides,communication frequency and foreign language abilities of the class teacher and other related issues.This article proposes that foreign teachers teaching in Indonesia should improve communication efficiency and effectiveness with students'parents by mastering basic Indonesian language,collaborating with students'class teachers and trying to adopt individualized teaching method based on the level of students,thereby exerting a more positive impact on their language learning.
