我国下一代图书馆服务平台FOLIO研究现状及展望

Research Status and Prospects of FOLIO:China’s Next-Generation Library Service Platform

随着开源数据、开放获取、智慧图书馆等观念的不断深入,当今图书馆业务和服务内容不断变化,图书馆系统进入转型升级的重要窗口期。FOLIO由于其开放性、易扩展性等特点,成为令人们充满期待的、全新的下一代图书馆服务平台。文章以FOLIO为研究对象对国内的相关理论研究进行了系统梳理,对其在国内的实践探索进行介绍分析。在此基础上对FOLIO在我国的本土化提出建议,未来图书馆应正确认识自身的角色定位、建立新的产品技术标准、建设服务平台开发者联盟、结合智慧城市和智慧校园等做好后续研究和开发。

With the continuous development of concepts such as open data,open access,and smart libraries,the business and service content of today’s libraries are undergoing constant changes,marking a crucial period for library system transformation and upgrade.FOLIO,characterized by its openness and scalability,has emerged as a highly anticipated and innovative next-generation library service platform.This article systematically reviews relevant theoretical research in China with FOLIO as the research subject,providing an analysis of its practical exploration in the country.Based on this,recommendations are proposed for the localization of FOLIO in China.It emphasizes the need for libraries to recognize their role,establish new product technology standards,develop a service platform developer alliance,and integrate with smart cities and smart campuses for subsequent research and development.
