Differential teaching and individualized teaching are both distinct and interrelated,each with its unique characteristics and advantages.However,their goals and focus are the same,both aimed at better meeting the personalized needs and learning progress of students.The article takes university mathematics teaching as the starting point,analyzes the differences and connections between differentiated teaching and individualized teaching,and deeply explores the application strategies of the two teaching modes,aiming to cultivate students'mathematical thinking,truly and effectively improve their mathematical learning effectiveness,and better meet their development needs.
