The core of the spirit of volunteer service among college students is dedication,friendship,mutual assistance,and progress.It helps to maintain social stability,cultivate and practice socialist core values,enhance national cultural confidence,and promote personal comprehensive development.Therefore,cultivating and disseminating the spirit of volunteer service among college students in the new era is of great significance.The article explores from multiple dimensions and points out that the main paths for cultivating the spirit of volunteer service among college students in the new era include:strengthening the learning of basic theories by college students themselves,organizing systematic volunteer service activities in universities,conducting diverse volunteer service activities in communities,and forming an atmosphere for cultivating the spirit of volunteer service among college students throughout society.
