新时代的“两个伟大革命论”是马克思主义革命论的继承和发展,是党的一个重大理论创新。从长期执政的历史方位加以审视,历史与现实交互影响下永葆革命性的使命型执政党是对中国共产党的精准角色定位。党的十九届六中全会进一步深刻阐明了自我革命是党跳出历史周期率给出的“第二个答案”。这是党在破解历史周期率难题上实现的又一次觉悟觉醒,标志着中国共产党对自我革命的理论认识达到新高度。单就伟大的自我革命而言,自我革命本质意义上属于主体自身进行的扬弃、批判、重塑及超越的革命锻造过程与行为,其生成发展演进逻辑诠释了马克思主义政党勇于自我革命的政治基因和鲜明品格,开辟了新时代百年大党自我革命的新境界。纵观马克思主义理论特征及其发展规律,新时代党的“自我革命”是无产阶级历史出场及发展进步的必然产物,长期执政实践条件下党在推动历史发展中实现了自身改造、发展与解放,又依靠自我革命跳出历史周期率,找到了促进世界的革命性飞跃的历史性进程的关键方法,推进和拓新了马克思主义建党学说的重大发展。
