非对称性结构表征和操作方式在生成语法研究中长期占据着主导性地位,对称性作为一种自然法则在句法理论的构建中尚未得到足够的重视。对称句法从语言的自然属性出发,强调结构表征和句法运算的对称性,为生成语法研究提供了一个全新的研究范式。文章尝试对对称句法的理论源起、基本观点、操作方式及理论革新进行详细的介绍,并科学评价其理论价值及不足之处,旨在展示生成语法理论的学术新变,为生成语法研究提供参考。

Asymmetric structural representations and operational modes have played a long-standing dominant role in the study of generative grammar.However,symmetry,as a law of nature,has not attracted much attention in the construction of syntactic theories.Starting with the natural attribute of languages,symmetrizing syntax places emphasis on the symmetry of structural representation and syntactic computation,which offers a new paradigm for the study of generative grammar.This paper covers the details of the theoretical origin,basic viewpoints,operational modes and theoretical innovations of this forefront theory of generative grammar and offers a scientific evaluation of the theoretical value and inadequacy of this theoretical framework.In addition,this paper shows the latest development of generative grammar and provides a reference for the study of generative grammar.
