The theory of"Yang HUA Qi and Yin Cheng Xing"originates from Su Wen·Yin Yang Ying Xiang Da Lun,which means that Yang can transform into clear Qi and energy with movement, and the condensation of Yin can form tangible substances. The basic pathogenesis of coronary heart disease is"Yang and Yin weakness",and Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome is the core pathogenesis and main syndrome type of coronary heart disease. If Qi deficiency occurs,Yang cannot be transformed.During the process of transforming Yang into Qi,material and energy are scarce, and the functional state of Yang is abnormal;Blood stasis is due to the ineffectiveness of Qi and with an inability to remove stagnant blood there would be an inability to generate new blood, and then there is a lack of material basis for Yin formation, resulting in chest pain and heartburn. In clinical treatment, the method of tonifying Qi and promoting blood circulation should be used to promote the recovery of Qi,remove blood stasis, and clear the meridians. When tonifying Qi,there is a source of transformation from Yang, and when promoting blood circulation, there is a formed substance from Yin.
