People’s democracy is the life of socialism,and it is also the logical code for the development of democratic politics by the Communist Party of China.Mao Zedong was the theoretical founder,system designer,and lifelong practitioner of China’s people’s democracy,and Mao Zedong Thought matured during the Yan’an period,and it made a breakthrough in people’s democracy in this period.Mao Zedong Thought on People’s Democracy is the product of the integration of Marxism with China’s specific reality and with China’s excellent traditional culture.During the Yan’an period,the development of Mao Zedong’s thought on people’s democracy absorbed and drew on the people-oriented thought in the excellent traditional Chinese culture,the Marxist concept of mass history and the theoretical essence of Mao Zedong’s early thought on people’s democracy,and constantly renewed Mao Zedong’s people’s democratic thought in practice,making outstanding historical contributions to the development of democratic politics in China at different stages.
