Top Managers'Cognition and Path Selection of Enterprise Transformation and Upgrading

选择合适的转型升级路径是应对企业成长性困境的关键,现有研究缺乏对路径选择背后支配机制的分析。在对高层管理者认知、环境、决策行为关系分析基础上,对高层管理者认知影响企业转型升级路径选择的机理进行了理论分析与案例研究。研究表明,高层管理者认知是企业转型升级路径选择的支配机制;企业转型升级的路径选择决策可以细分为转型升级决策和选择转型升级路径两个阶段,这两个阶段的决策会受到高层管理者对内外环境的洞察性认知、重塑性认知及匹配性认知的支配,其中,高层管理者的洞察性认知和重塑性认知共同决定了企业转型升级决策,高层管理者的匹配性认知直接决定了企业选择的转型升级路径。该研究理清了企业转型升级路径选择的起点与微观认知机理,揭示了不同企业转型升级路径选择出现差异的根源,拓展了对高层管理者认知的认识,能为高层管理者推动企业转型升级的顺利进行提供重要启示。

Choosing appropriate transformation and upgrading paths is the key to coping with the dilemma of enterprise growth.Existing research lacks an analysis of the governing mechanism behind path selection.Based on the analysis of the relationship among top managers'cognition,environment and decision-making behavior,this paper conducts a theoretical analysis and case study on the mechanism that top managers'cognition affects the choice of enterprise transformation and upgrading path.The research results show that top managers'cognition is the dominant mechanism for enterprise transformation and upgrading path selection;the path selection decision of enterprise transformation and upgrading can be subdivided into two stages:making transformation and upgrading decisions and choosing transformation and upgrading paths.Deciaions in these two stages will be dominated by the top managers'insightful cognition,reshaping cognition and matching cognition of the internal and external environment,among which,the top management's insightful cognition and reshaping cognition jointly determine the decision-making of enterprise transformation and upgrading and the matching cognitive of top managers directly determines the transformation and upgrading path chosen by the enterprise.This research clarifies the starting point and micro-cognitive mechanism of enterprise transformation and upgrading path selection,reveals the root cause of differences in the selection of different enterprises'transformation and upgrading paths,expands the understanding of top managers'cognition,and provides important inspiration for top managers to promote the smooth progress of enterprise transformation and upgrading.
