Baihu and Dihuang Decoction was first derived from Guilin Guben Typhoid Miscellaneous Diseases,which is composed of Gypsum,Anemarrhena,Rehmannia glutinosa,Licorice and Japonica rice five flavor medicine,mainly used for the treatment of warm disease,evil heat for a long time,Qi and blood double burnt evidence,with the effect of refreshing Qi and cooling blood,nourishing Yin and rejuvenating.Since then,successive generations of doctors have continued and respected this method,and the clinical application has also been extended to this day.Through the historical evolution,interpretation of evidence,evolution of treatment,significance of composition and other aspects,the Baihu and Dihuang Decoction was elaborated and summarized,and under the guidance of the theory of“state target discrimination”,the traditional Chinese medicine theory and modern pharmacological research were deeply cross-integrated,which further opened up new ideas and new directions for the in-depth expansion of modern clinical medicine,and maximized the medicinal advantages and clinical value of Baihu and Dihuang Decoction.
