基于I-CARE人才培养模式下《眼视光学应用光学基础》课程教学改革探索与应用

Exploration and Application of Teaching Reform of Fundamental of Applied Optics of Ophthalmic Optics Based on I-CARE Training Mode

摘要 目的基于I-CARE人才培养模式,探索《眼视光学应用光学基础》课程教学改革与应用,提升眼视光学专业学生视光学技能水平,强化视光学专业人才培养质量。方法采用前瞻性研究方法,将南京医科大学眼视光学专业2021~2022学年本科生60名(2个班级)纳入课程教学研究,随机分为实验教学组和对照教学组,每组学生30名。实验教学组,采用基于I-CARE人才培养模式PBL联合翻转课堂的教学方式;对照教学组,采用传统幻灯片、口头讲授教学方式。学期末通过理论考核、实验考核成绩及学生问卷调查的方式评估两组学生课程改革的效果。结果学期末实验教学组理论考核成绩(84.3±6.1)分高于对照教学组(78.0±12.6)分(P<0.05);实验考核成绩比较,实验教学组(85.2±5.3)分高于对照教学组(82.0±5.8)分,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。课程改革效果问卷调查结果显示:学生对基于I-CARE人才培养模式的课程教学改革满意度较高,认为课程改革对提高学生学习效率、自主学习能力、团队协作能力、沟通表达能力、信息检索能力等具有显著效果。结论基于I-CARE人才培养模式的光学课程改革对提高学生知识掌握及实验操作水平具有显著效果,可为强化视光学专业教育提供依据。 Objective To explore the teaching reform and application of the course Fundamental of Applied Optics of Ophthalmic Optics based on I-CARE training mode for the sake of improving the optometry skills of optometry students and strengthening the training quality of optometry professionals.Methods A prospective research method was used.Totally 60 students from two classes majoring in optometry over the period from 2021 to 2022 in Nanjing Medical University were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,30 students in each group.Multi-mode teaching methods integrated with Flipped Classroom and Problem-Based-Learning(PBL)based on I-CARE training mode were adopted for the experimental group while traditional teaching mode being used for the control group.At the end of the course,the effect of curriculum reform was evaluated with theoretical examination results,experimental examination results and questionnaires of curriculum reform.Results The theoretical results of the experimental group and control group were 84.3±6.1 and 78.0±12.6 respectively,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The experimental results of the experimental group and control group were 85.2±5.3 and 82.0±5.8 respectively,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The results of questionnaire on the effect of curriculum reform showed that the teachers and students were highly satisfied with the reform of curriculum and they thought curriculum reform had a significant effect on improving students'learning efficiency,autonomous learning ability,teamwork ability,communication,expression ability and information retrieval ability.Conclusions The optical curriculum reform based on I-CARE training mode has a significant effect on improving students'mastery of knowledge and experimental operating level.In addition,it provides a basis for strengthening the education in the subjects of optometric specialization.
