友好城市关系对城市出口贸易的影响研究——以陕西省为例

Impact of Sister Cities Relations onUrban Export Trade:Taking Shaanxi Province as an example

随着全球经济的发展和经济一体化的深入,国际友好城市关系已经成为推动国家和区域经济发展的最重要力量之一。陕西省在“一带一路”建设和“走出去”战略的背景下,已与41个国家建立了101个国际友城关系,但对该省出口贸易产生的影响尚未得到检验。文章选取了2005—2021年陕西省八个城市出口贸易与友好城市数据并结合面板数据模型,检验了国际友好城市关系对城市出口贸易的影响。结果发现,缔结国际友好城市关系有助于形成良好的沟通渠道,减少贸易成本,促进城市出口贸易。此外,异质性分析发现陕西省友好城市更有利于促进中等地区生产总值城市的出口贸易。文章结论有助于探讨陕西省如何探索外贸高质量发展的新路径,并为其他地区相关研究提供经验证据。

With the development of global economy and the deepening of economic integration,international sister cities relations have become one of the most important forces driving national and regional economic development.Shaanxi,in the context of"the Belt and Road"construction and"Going Global"strategy,has established 101 international sister cities relations with 41 countries,but its impact on the province′s export trade has not yet been tested.The article selects the export trade of eight cities in Shaanxi Province and the data of sister cities from 2005 to 2021,combines the panel data model to test the impact of international sister cities relations on the export trade of the cities.The results found that international sister cities relations helps to form good communication channels to reduce trade costs and promote city export trade.In addition,the heterogeneity analysis found that the sister cities in Shaanxi are more conducive to promoting the export trade of cities with medium gross regional product.The conclusions of the article is helpful to explore how Shaanxi can explore new paths for high-quality development of foreign trade and provides empirical evidence for related studies in other regions.
