Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,President Xi Jinping has published a series of important speeches and instructions on the urban green and low-carbon de⁃velopment,answering the fundamental questions,on whom can be relied and for whom in the urban green and low-carbon development,as well as why and how.Based on a series of Xi Jinping's impor⁃tant disccourses on urban green and low-carbon development and the national strategic deployment,this article explores the contemporary value of Xi Jinping's important discourses on urban green and low-carbon development,and explains rich value implications from the three main dimensions of the era background,theoretical character,and practical route.
