政治能力建设是中国共产党生存、发展、壮大的根本性能力建设,与党领导的伟大事业和党的建设新的伟大工程紧密相连,其首要任务是做到“两个维护”,常态化要求是加强政治历练和党性锻炼,善于用政治眼光审视工作中的问题。中国共产党的政治能力并不是天然生成的,而是一个持续展开的实践命题,是内在机理与外生机制、历史动因与时代动因、理论因素与实践因素综合作用中生成的。踏上新的“赶考”征程,党的政治能力建设要突出强调坚持“两个确立”和做到“两个维护”,增强党组织的政治功能,加强党员干部政治历练,优化政治监督问责机制,探索建立政治能力考核评估体系。
