在气候变化导致的极端天气频发、地区冲突战乱、动荡及自然灾害持续加剧等多种因素相互叠加背景下,确保国家粮食安全,把中国人的饭碗牢牢端在自己手中,比以往任何时候都显得更为重要和紧迫。如何在一个充满变化、冲突、风险和不确定性的时代持续有效地保障农业和粮食安全,促进农业健康可持续发展,实现人与自然和谐共生的农业农村现代化,既是推进中国式现代化、乡村振兴和建设农业强国的应有之义,也是农业伦理学的时代命题和研究重点。第四届中国草学会农业伦理学研究会年会围绕“农业伦理学与农业农村现代化”主题进行了深入交流。

Amidst a global confluence of challenges—including the escalating frequency of climate-change-induced extreme weather,geopolitical tensions,and the increasing frequency of natural disasters—the assurance of national food security and the retention of control over China s agricultural production have never been more critical.The question of how to robustly protect agricultural integrity and food supply,foster the sustainable growth of the agricultural sector,and advance the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in harmony with nature,within a climate of change,strife,and uncertainty,has taken on an unprecedented significance.It is not only a core aspect of realizing China s unique path to modernization,rural revitalization,and the goal of becoming an agricultural powerhouse but also a matter of contemporary urgency and the central theme of scholarly inquiry into agricultural ethics.The Fourth Annual Conference of the Agricultural Ethics Research Society,held by the China Grass Society,engaged in comprehensive discussions on the interface of agricultural ethics and the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
