感性何以丰厚?——论艺术史的美育价值

摘要 “丰厚的感性”由杜卫首倡,是对调和人性的美育传统在当代所作的承续。此提法实际上为艺术史登上当代美育舞台并充当重要角色做好了出场准备。因为感性之丰厚主要体现在其精神维度和人文属性,这必然依赖于后天教育尤其是艺术史的熏陶。艺术史将生动具体的艺术作品直接与人的感性经验相接,同时又拓宽了感性经验的跨度,延展了其厚度,对于培育感性的丰厚具有重要价值。由艺术史学者白谦慎所举的一个例子展开讨论,可以发现,“丰厚的感性”在现实中“薄发”为一种自然直观、自由敏锐的审美判断。艺术史以感性直观的方式显明“化”的本体,对这种审美判断的形成机制有圆成之功。 The expression“rich sensibility”,first proposed by Du Wei,leads people to pay attention to the historical depth dimension of“sensibility”in the sense of aesthetic education behind the spatial constitutive proposition that sensible education is the basic connotation of aesthetic education.This has actually prepared the art history to step onto the stage of contemporary aesthetic education and play an important role.As the richness of sensibility is mainly reflected in its spiritual dimension and humanistic attributes,which inevitably depends on the influence of education,especially art history.Art history directly connects vivid and concrete works of art with human sensible experience,while also expands the span and depth of sensibility in rich historical time and space.It has the most important value in cultivating the richness of sensibility.In order to elaborate on this value and avoid using historical references,an example given by art historian Bai Qianshen is cited to analyze how art history education cultivates the richness of sensibility.At the same time,it is clarified that this richness is“thick accumulation but thin development”:the sensible experience cultivated in profound art history integrates the changes of time and space,thus transforming it into a natural,open,and intuitive aesthetic power.
