佛经异文校记七则

Seven Records of Different Texts of Buddhist Sutras

文章通过同经异译比较、不同版本藏经对照、梵汉对勘等方法,参考佛经音义,结合俗字学相关知识,对汉文佛典中的相关字词进行了考证。文章认为:“■”为“謎”之繁化;“白”为“丐”之讹写;“如”为“■”之假借;“■”为“鴝”之讹写;“焰火”当作“焰水”;“梵光益天”当作“梵先益天”;“热那落迦”或当作“独那落迦”。

Through the comparison of different translations of the same scriptures,the comparison of different versions of Buddhist scriptures,and the comparison between Sanskrit and Chinese,the article makes a textual research on the relevant words in Chinese Buddhist scriptures by referring to the sound and meaning of Buddhist sutras and combining the relevant knowledge of non-standard forms of Chinese characters.The article holds that mi(■)is the multiplication of mi(謎);bai(白)is the false writing of gai(■);ru(如)is phonetic loan character of ru(■);fanguang yitian(梵光益天)should be written as fanxian yitian(梵先益天);renalajia(热那落迦)should probably be written as dunaluojia(独那落迦).
