This article summarizes the clinical experience of chief physician YUAN Aihong in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)with acupuncture combined with medicine.She believes that the pathogenesis of PCOS is mainly in the kidney,which is closely related to Ren and Du meridians and emotions.In treatment,attention should be paid to the regulation of the relationship of Ren and Du,Yin and Yang of kidney,and emotions.The treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion is based on the treatment principle of"reinforcing the Ren meridian and nourishing the kidney yin,channeling the Du meridian and warming the kidney yang,regulating the mind and improving the emotions".The prescription and drug of Chinese medicine treatment is based on the modern clinical common etiology,supplemented by life adjustment,psychological counseling,and so on,and the clinical effect is remarkable.A typical medical record is attached for verification.
