How to utilize the advantage of China's large-scale market to enhance corporate innovation efficiency and address the bottleneck issue in the field of science and technology has become a highly discussed topic in society.The article takes listed companies from 2015 to 2020 as research samples to empirically analyze the impact and mechanism of market integration on corporate innovation efficiency.It is found that market integration improves enterprise innovation efficiency by reducing transaction costs and enhancing industry competitiveness,thereby increasing corporate innovation efficiency.Additionally,the strengthening of technological absorption capacity reinforces this impact.Market integration has significantly improved the accessibility of research and development personnel and capital for small enterprises,non-high-tech industries,and companies in the central and western regions.Therefore,its impact on enhancing innovation efficiency is greater for these types of businesses.The article proposes strategies and recommendations to promote the formation of a unifed large market,enhance market integration,eliminate administrative barriers between regions,reduce transaction costs,prioritize human capital,and improve technological absorption capacity.
