Research on the Impact of the Implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative on China's Outward Foreign Direct Investment in Association of Southeast Asian Nations

对外直接投资是“一带一路”建设的核心环节和重要手段。东盟作为“一带一路”倡议实施的重要支点,是“一带一路”倡议实施的优先发展区域和关键领域。因此,推进中国与东盟在投资合作领域的发展成为“一带一路”倡议实施的重要环节,不仅给新型国际区域经济合作提供试验区,而且为“一带一路”倡议实施的推进提供示范区,还为中国与东盟双边经贸关系提供广阔的政策空间,也为人类命运共同体的构建提供样本。“一带一路”倡议实施的过程中,中国在东盟的直接投资规模整体处于稳定的上升状态。现阶段,随着RCEP的正式生效和中国-东盟全面战略伙伴关系的确定,中国-东盟自贸区升级版如何在“一带一路”背景下拓展投资合作领域和合作层次,并将“一带一路”建设纳入已有的合作框架,成为中国和东盟深化投资合作的重要内容。

Outward foreign direct investment(OFDI)is a core component and important means of the Belt and Road Initiative.As a crucial pivot for the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative,Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN)is a priority development region and a key area for the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.Therefore,promoting the development of investment cooperation between China and ASEAN has become an important part of the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.It not only provides a testing ground for new types of international regional economic cooperation,but also serves as a demonstration area for the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.It also provides broad policy space for bilateral economic and trade relations between China and ASEAN,and serves as a model for the construction of a human community of shared future.During the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative,the overall scale of China's OFDI in ASEAN is on a steady rise.At this stage,with the official implementation of RCEP and the establishment of the China-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,it is important to explore how the upgraded version of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area can expand areas and upgrade levels in the investment cooperation under the circumstances of the Belt and Road Initiative.Integrating the Belt and Road Initiative into the existing cooperation framework becomes a significant aspect of deepening investment cooperation between China and ASEAN.
