克劳迪娅·戈尔丁的研究对推动中国女科技工作者性别平等的启示

The implications of Claudia Goldin's research on gender inequality for women scientists and technologists

2023年10月9日,美国经济学家克劳迪娅·戈尔丁因研究劳动力市场性别议题荣获诺贝尔经济学奖,使性别议题,即就业歧视问题和性别不平等问题引起了学术界新一轮的关注。本文梳理了戈尔丁关于性别不平等研究的主要贡献,包括“贪婪工作”(Greedy Work)与性别歧视,技术变革与女性觉醒等方面。在此基础上,分析我国女科技工作者的现状、面临的性别不平等问题,并结合戈尔丁的研究分析性别不平等的成因。最后,提出缓解女科技工作者性别不平等现状的建议,以期为更好地发挥女科技工作者的作用,进一步加快实现高水平科技自立自强注入女性力量奠定基础。

On October 9,2023,American economist Claudia Goldin won the Nobel Prize in Economics for her research on gender issues in the labor market.Therefore,gender issues,namely employment discrimination and gender equality,have attracted a new round of attention from the academic community.This article reviews Goldin's major contributions to the study of gender inequality,including Greedy Work and sexism,technological change and women's awakening.On this basis,this paper analyzes the current situation of women scientists and technologists in our country and the problems of gender inequality,and analyzes the causes of gender inequality in combination with Goldin's research.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions to alleviate the gender inequality of women scientists and technologists,in order to lay a foundation for better exerting the role of women scientists and technologists and further accelerating sci-tech self-reliance and self-strengthening at higher levels.
